HealthRight is collaborating with the Social Work Professional Development Center in Hanoi to engage social workers in training to help improve their child protection practices. Recently, the capacity building opportunities have expanded to include topics such as cyber safety and non-violent communication. As legislative efforts to introduce foster care nation-wide progress, the social services workforce is eager to become better prepared to support children living in alternative care settings and their families, and so these trainings are in particularly high demand.
