Luis is a physician, epidemiologist, and public health professional from Colombia, currently pursuing an MPH in Global Health at NYU. He has led epidemiological research and public health initiatives across multiple continents, working with Weill Cornell Medicine on SARS-CoV-2 and sepsis immunology, and with UNICEF on vaccination campaigns and maternal health programs. He has also collaborated with Universidad de los Andes on public health indicators and community health initiatives. As Program Support and M&E Intern, Luis aims to apply strategic planning, capacity building, and implementation science to improve healthcare access for underserved populations.
