Katanu is a junior at New York University majoring in Global Public Health and Communicative Sciences & Disorders. Growing up in Kenya and other African countries shaped her commitment to advancing equitable healthcare access in low- and middle-income nations. Her coursework has strengthened her passion for public health and provided a multidisciplinary foundation to address health disparities. As the Digital Media Intern at HealthRight International, she looks forward to learning how to tackle complex global health challenges, strengthen health systems, and develop impactful public health initiatives for marginalized communities.
