Isabel Rohrbeck brings more than 15 years of financial services experience including leadership roles in risk management, project management and consulting. She is an enterprise risk professional advising senior business leaders on control environment improvements in addition to assessing, challenging, and reporting on a company’s risks. Isabel assumed the role of Head of Operational Risk – Americas for a UK-based Asset Manager, Schroders, in July of 2016. Prior to that, Isabel was working for HSH Nordbank AG, a northern German bank. Her last position was SVP, Head of Group Risk Management in New York. She was responsible for Market, Liquidity, Operational risk as well as IT Security and Business Continuity; at the same time she ran a global regulatory compliance program. Further positions at HSH included management roles within the Corporate Development unit running high impact, strategic re-organization initiatives. In her earlier career, Isabel was a consultant at BearingPoint.
In 2017, Isabel lectured at Columbia University’s Enterprise Risk Management Master of Science program teaching and mentoring 40+ student in External Stakeholder Management. She is an active alumni mentoring new executive program student at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.
Isabel holds a B.A. in business administration and Executive MBA from Zicklin School of Business. In addition, she has a project management certification (PMP) and is a member of several risk organizations.
