Dom DiPasquale is the Global Head of Community, Collaboration and Compliance Analytics in the Core Product group at Bloomberg LP. This department oversees the development of new core functionality in the Bloomberg Terminal, a platform that provides real-time data, news and analytics to leading business and financial professionals globally, allowing them to make more informed decisions. In his current role, DiPasquale oversees the development and design of new and existing products in the communications and compliance space, including Bloomberg’s flagship chat service, Instant Bloomberg, as well as the Bloomberg Terminal Message function.
DiPasquale joined Bloomberg in 2000, and first worked in Analytics, the team that provides 24/7 customer service and answers client inquiries in real time. He then moved into Sales, initially covering global banks. In 2011, DiPasquale moved into his first sales leadership role, looking after major banks in New England and New Hampshire. Throughout his career, he has held various sales leadership positions, serving clients in the hedge fund, asset manager, asset owner and private banking space, across the United States and Canada. In 2016, DiPasquale moved into a regional sales leadership role, overseeing Terminal Sales for the Americas.
During his time at Bloomberg, DiPasquale has also been responsible for bringing new talent into the firm through the company’s summer internship program, which recruits college graduates into the Sales & Analytics Financial Training Program. DiPasquale has also served as co-coordinator of the on-boarding efforts in Sales, helping to mentor, develop, train and place team members from Analytics into Sales.
DiPasquale holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University in Economics & Psychology, and serves as member of the Board of Directors for The Hetrick Martin Institute; he is also an emeritus board member of The New York Alternative Investment Roundtable. DiPasquale was named the Diversity & Inclusion business champion for Core Product, is the executive sponsor for Bloomberg’s B-Proud Employee Resource Group and serves as a mentor in the U.S. chapter of The 30% Club.
