Since 2005, HealthRight International and its local subsidiary, the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health (UFPH), have worked to strengthen health systems and expand access to critical services for populations who have been routinely marginalized in Ukraine. With a focus on gender equality, mental health, and violence prevention, UFPH has played a vital role in supporting women, adolescents, survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Following the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, HealthRight and UFPH rapidly scaled up operations to provide emergency health and protection services across 22 oblasts in Eastern, Western, and Central Ukraine. Through partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and local leaders, we have directly supported over 1 million people, ensuring access to mental health support, reproductive care, shelter, and legal assistance.
Our 2022-2024 Impact Report highlights how we adapted to the crisis, expanded our reach, and continued delivering life-saving care to Ukraine’s most vulnerable populations.
