This Tuesday, March 11, HealthRight, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Poland in New York, hosted a powerful discussion in honor of International Women’s Day. The event highlighted the resilience of Ukrainian women and the critical role of healthcare, protection services, and international collaboration in ensuring their well-being during the ongoing crisis.
The discussion featured HealthRight Ukraine Country Director, Dr. Halyna Skipalska, alongside Nataliia Karbowska, the Director on Strategic Development at the Ukrainian Women’s Fund, who shared valuable insights on supporting displaced women and strengthening global partnerships. The panel was moderated by Louise Callaghan, US Correspondent at The Sunday Times.
We were honored to have Consul General Mateusz Sakowicz and his wife in attendance, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the Polish Consulate for graciously hosting us.
As we continue to stand with women in crisis, we look forward to future collaborations with the Polish government to expand access to healthcare, social services, and safe spaces for displaced Ukrainians.
