This past year, COVID exposed fundamental health system weaknesses and inequities, the brunt of which fall disproportionately on vulnerable and marginalized communities. Learn more about HealthRight’s efforts to continue supporting marginalized populations despite the pandemic.
In this year’s annual report you will see how your contributions have impacted the lives of tens of thousands of women and children, migrant communities, at-risk adolescents and LGBTQ communities around the world. The report features compelling stories about our Self-help Plus (SH+) mental health intervention in one of the largest refugee settlements in the world located in northern Uganda; the deeply caring work of our halfway house staff in Ukraine; our partnership with Adelphi University to meet the needs of asylum seekers in the US; and our new 5-year UKAid funded reproductive health program in Kenya’s rural North Rift Valley.
2019 was a year of growth and expanded impact at HealthRight, and despite the pandemic, 2020 will continue this positive trend. We are excited about our future, our work, and are incredibly grateful for your support.
