Shao is a financial analyst with nearly 10 years of combined experience in Public Health. He received his MPH from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and MBA from Baruch College CUNY. He spent three years as an outreach specialist of NYC Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene on Perinatal Hepatitis B prevention and outreach. In the past 7 years, Shao’s been working to provide financial and operational support for Michigan Public Health Institute in facilitating Public Health programs in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Shao currently lives in NJ with his wife and their two young boys. In their free time, they enjoy trying out different cuisines, going on hikes, more frequently hanging out on the playgrounds. When he has some time for himself, Shao likes to work on some carpentry projects as his newly-discovered passion.
