Nur Seirafi obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Humboldt State University in 2017. She was heavily involved on campus as a student advocate. Nur’s interests in identity politics and immigration issues led her to work as a case manager and legal admin support with local non-profit organizations based in southern California in which she supported majority refugee and asylum-seeking populations with integration during the resettlement process and immigration benefits. She went on to pursue work serving refugee communities in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. She is currently an MPH candidate at the NYU School of Global Public Health in the Global Health concentration.
