Natalie Tikhonovsky

Natalie Tikhonovsky is an undergraduate student at Furman University in Greenville, S.C., where she studies public health. Natalie has an interest in immigrant and refugee health and has previously worked as a Refugee Resettlement Intern at World Relief in Atlanta and research intern at Columbia University’s Global Mental Health Program in NYC. In the Spring of 2019, Natalie studied public health and migration in Sweden, renowned for its cost-effective and equitable healthcare for all, including asylum seekers and refugees. Inspired by the Nordic model, Natalie hopes to continue learning about healthcare systems around the world and health outcomes among refugee and immigrant groups in a variety of settings.
