Interns

Katie is a Program Support Intern, working with Dr. Nawaraj Upadhaya. She is a graduate student at New York University earning a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health. She received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2016 from Sonoma State University. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Katie was a team lead at the vaccination hub at the University of Texas at Austin and the program coordinator for their mobile vaccination unit. Her experience working with the vaccination team was the driving factor behind her passion for pursuing disease prevention and management via community driven public health solutions and healthcare data analytics.
