Julius Torres Kellinghusen, MPH
Operations and Development Officer
Julius Torres Kellinghusen is Operations and Development Officer at HealthRight International, and coordinates the Last Mile Populations Lab intern program. He previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, focusing on strengthening community health systems and helping marginalized communities improve their access to healthcare. During this time he also implemented strategic plans to benefit Peace Corps Panama’s volunteers as president of the Volunteer Advisory Council. In prior positions, Julius has supported the work of UNAIDS in Vietnam, the Pan-American Health Organization and the United Nations Association in Los Angeles.
Julius holds an MPH in Global Health from NYU’s College of Global Public Health and a BA in International Relations from Pomona College. His academic work has focused on the decentralization of HIV testing and treatment in developing countries, as well as refugee policies in Western Europe. Julius is fluent in German and Spanish.
