Julius Torres Kellinghusen
Program Associate, Intern Coordinator
Julius Torres Kellinghusen is Program Associate and coordinator of the Last Mile Populations Lab intern program at HealthRight International. He previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, focusing on strengthening community health systems and helping marginalized communities improve their access to healthcare. During this time he also implemented strategic plans to benefit Peace Corps Panama’s volunteers as president of the Volunteer Advisory Council. In prior positions, Julius has supported the work of UNAIDS in Vietnam and the United Nations Association in Los Angeles.
Julius holds a BA in International Relations from Pomona College and is an MPH candidate at NYU’s College of Global Public Health. His academic work has focused on the decentralization of HIV testing and treatment in developing countries, as well as refugee policies in Western Europe.
