Ceci Zak

Ceci Zak is currently on a “Soulbatical”, spending time executing against her “awesome list”. Previously she was the COO of Healthcare at D.A.S.~ Omnicom, a global conglomerate of professional service agencies, where she developed and activated the global strategic focus in Healthcare, while managing the P&L of the group’s 42 worldwide operating units. While at Omnicom, Ceci was also a Principal at Batten & Co., a strategic, ambition focused, c-suite, consulting company, helping enterprises realize their truest potential. Spending most of her career in Pharmaceuticals, she also held various senior executive roles at Sanofi, a top 5 global Pharmaceutical Company including General Manager, Business Unit Head and Joint Venture Executive for the allergy, osteoporosis & hypertension franchises, as well as Vice President, Commercial Capabilities – the Center of Commercial Excellence. Prior to Sanofi, Ceci held a wide variety of sales, research and marketing roles at Roche Pharmaceuticals. And, in her spare time, is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School.

Recognized in 2017 by the Healthcare Business Women’s Association (HBA) as the STAR, someone who has demonstrated strategic, transformational, achievement and recognition within the Healthcare industry, she was also named as one of the 100 Most Influential Individuals in Healthcare by PharmaVoice in 2015 (for a second time). Ceci was also named by GLG Institute as one of the top 15 Brand Leaders in Healthcare in 2014 and was previously recognized as an Emerging Leader in the Healthcare Industry by Pharmaceutical Executive.

Recently, Ceci spearheaded the development of OurBrainBank, the first nonprofit focused on turning glioblastoma from terminal to treatable and is Chairman Emeritus of HBA. In addition, she is actively involved with the Pachamama Alliance, a nonprofit organization that strives to empower indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their land and culture.
