Brenton Karmen is the Global head of Analytics for Bloomberg L.P., the world’s leading provider of financial data, news and analytics. Bloomberg Analytics serves as the first point of contact for all questions from the 326,000 Bloomberg terminal subscribers globally.
Brenton leads a global team of 1,000 professionals who play a critical role in the servicing of Bloomberg Global Franchise. On top of being the real-time service for clients, Analytics plays a critical role in helping train users, supporting many of our new enterprise offerings and notifying clients of new enhancements to the Bloomberg service.
Previously, Brenton was the Global Head of Bloomberg’s Terminal Sales Business and prior to running sales Brenton was the head of Bloomberg Trading Solutions business.
Brenton joined Bloomberg in 1997 as a sales executive. He spent many years in various sales and sales management roles, before becoming the product manager for a new business focused on buy-side risk and electronic trading in 2003. He spent many years leading this business and was promoted to run the Trading Solutions division in 2010.
Prior to Bloomberg, Brenton gained financial industry and financial risk management expertise when his career began at Lehman Brothers and KPMG. He holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting from Lehigh University in Lehigh, PA and is a CPA. Brenton is a Board member of HealthRight Internaltional.
