We are excited to announce that our Chief Program Officer, Dr. Theresa P. Castillo, is the 2022 recipient of the Women of Peace Corps Legacy’s Deborah Harding Women of Achievement Award.
The Women of Achievement Award is dedicated to Peace Corps alumnae whose contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of women and girls globally. In her early career, Dr. Castillo served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Turkmenistan, Morocco, and Mali. The Women of Peace Corps Legacy is honoring Dr. Castillo’s over 25 years of work in the fields of gender, social justice, and health equity.
Dr. Castillo is currently the Chief Program Officer at HealthRight International. She also teaches at Teachers College, Columbia University and Bard College’s Globalization and International Affairs Program.
